Riverwalk

The Port of Bandon River Walk is a centerpiece of Bandon’s waterfront, offering a welcoming place for locals and visitors to gather, explore, and enjoy beautiful views of the Coquille River and Bandon’s working waterfront.

The 25,000-square-foot Boardwalk features a glass-enclosed picnic shelter, a 100-seat outdoor amphitheater, and a meandering walkway lined with engraved bricks purchased by members of the community. These personalized bricks add a special connection to Bandon’s history, families, businesses, and visitors who have helped make the waterfront what it is today.

Throughout the River Walk, visitors will also find plenty of outdoor seating and a unique collection of wood-carved sculptures, many created by local artist Chris Foltz. The carvings include pieces donated in memory of Bandon residents as well as artwork loaned for public display.

Handcrafted Myrtlewood benches built by the Port of Bandon Maintenance Crew provide inviting places to sit, watch the boats travel along the river, and take in the sights and sounds of the waterfront.

Whether you’re enjoying a picnic, attending an event at the amphitheater, exploring the artwork, or simply taking a stroll along the river, the Port of Bandon River Walk is a special place to experience the beauty and character of Bandon’s waterfront.
