Port of Bandon Harbor Office

Completed in September 2026, the Port of Bandon Harbor Office is a long-awaited addition to Bandon’s waterfront, providing improved services and amenities for marina customers, visiting boaters, residents, and visitors to Old Town Bandon.
Located at the east end of the Boardwalk between the marina and boat launch, the Harbor Office serves as a convenient point of contact for Port and marina services. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with Port staff available to assist marina customers and visitors.
The facility also includes public restrooms and secured shower and restroom facilities for boaters, providing much-needed amenities for marina guests, users of the public fishing and crabbing pier, and visitors enjoying the waterfront.
The Harbor Office has been part of the Port’s long-term vision for more than 20 years. The original concrete High Dock pier was constructed around 2000 with a future Harbor Office in mind, but funding and land-use limitations delayed the project. In 2023, the Port partnered with HGE Architects to redesign the facility and develop a plan that better met the needs of today’s waterfront.
Funding for the project was made possible through support from the State of Oregon, along with grants from the Oregon State Marine Board and Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.
The project was truly a community and Port effort. To make the most of available funding, the Port of Bandon served as the general contractor, with Port staff completing a significant portion of the construction work in-house alongside local and regional contractors.
Today, the Harbor Office represents another important investment in the Port of Bandon waterfront—improving services for boaters, expanding public amenities, and creating a welcoming and accessible resource for everyone who comes to enjoy the Port.
